Prayer
Dear Father God,
Trusting you with all my heart has been my goal for so many years now, but I’m making such little progress. I think I get in my own way because I try so hard to understand everything. And behind this need to understand is my strong desire to feel in control of my life. I want to trust you completely Lord, but I feel stuck. I ask that Your Holy Spirit help me think trusting thoughts. Instead of relying on my own limited understanding, help me rely on the Holy Spirit to control my mind. I believe Lord that as I walk trusting and talking with you that You will straighten the path before me.

For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
