Transformational Tip
Picture the Samaritan woman that Jesus selected to evangelize the whole town. Talk about a bad reputation; First of all she was a Samaritan, hated by the Jews. She was a woman, looked down on by men, not just a divorcee…but 5 failed marriages and she’s currently living with a guy who refuses to marry her.
After her talk with Jesus, the entire city knew about this man claiming to be God within one day. She told the town; “He told me everything I ever did…and he loved me anyway”
So listen. As a Christian (see Spiritual Basics link below and the Salvation section) you have not just been sprinkled with forgiveness, you have been totally submerged in His forgiveness…you are totally covered with His grace. Let it change you the way it changed the woman in Samaria.
He found her full of trash and left her full of grace. She knew it and it changed her view of herself and how she interacted with others. Do you have trash colored lenses?…… or grace colored lenses? Try changing your glasses today and see miracles happen.
Prayer
My Father and my God,
I pray to you with a humble yet thankful heart. I am so thankful for your gift of forgiveness, so thankful for your unconditional love. You know me inside and out, and yet you still love me. Help me and all those reading this devotional today to accept your beautiful grace and gift of forgiveness, let us begin today telling your story and the impact you have had on my live so that others may accept this precious gift. I come to you my Lord so full of trash. Empty my trash and fill me with your glory…let all those that I meet today see your radiance coming from me. I pray this in the name of Jesus – AMEN
