Do you pray with confidence and conviction, or are your prayers shallow, timid or hollow? When Jesus came down among men, He offered these comforting words “Our Father can handle that for us, whatever it may be.” God provided for our greatest need, salvation, before we even asked for it. He isn’t going to “waste” that effort by refusing to meet our other needs. We need only pray with boldness and faith knowing our Father is listening. He will answer “Yes” or “No, because I have something even better!”
Father God my heart is opened as I take this time to praise and honor You. Help me to pray with a true language of love. Teach me how to pray with specific detail, not just blanket prayers so that I may be built up knowing my prayers are answered. Remind me that You answer prayer in Your time, not mine. I ask these things in Jesus Name. Amen.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4: 6-7
Hear their prayer and help them
The Lord has heard my cry for mercy; the Lord accepts my prayer
