Transformational Tip
When we are born again, the Holy Spirit brings to work His new creation in us, and then there will come the time when there is nothing remaining of the old life. He wants to renew us, but we have to help. The one thing God asks of us to receive this new life…unconditional surrender. What are you having difficulty surrendering ….security, control, a substance, food, contentment, lust, approval, pride, _________, interfering with God being on the throne of your heart?
Prayer
Dear Father,
I praise you and thank you for the opportunity to begin a new life, to be born again. I look forward to the day where nothing of my old ways remains in me. I ask that you help me make my old gloomy outlook disappear. Help me achieve that new life that has no lust, no self interest…and where I am no longer victim to the ridicule of others. Help me Lord have and sustain the type of love that “is kind and not provoked”. I am beginning to understand now Lord that when I can truly see You at work, I will never again be concerned about the things that happen, because I am actually trusting in my Father in heaven whom this world cannot see.
